Yukon/Haines based photographer Walter Streit will donate 100% of sales of his work to LCC. So by purchasing one or more of his remarkable framed and mounted images of the natural world, your money goes directly to support LCC’s work. The sturdy and weather-tight mounting of the images allows them to be displayed in protected outdoor settings, such as a wall under an eave. The materials used reflect about half the price of the images. If you choose to contribute this way, contact us directly.
Walter Streit
Born 1956 in Passau, Germany and raised in the Bavarian Forest Walter Streit has been traveling to remote areas, from Northern Canada to the deserts of Tierra Del Fuego, and New Zealand. This year Walter moved to Whitehorse, Canada and took ownership of the Alpine Bakery. Walter’s photography style depicts his observations of the fascinating diversity of forms and colors found in nature.
Material and Construction
All photos are taken in the outdoors without filters, arrangements or post-editing. Photos are cold laminated on Trespa HPL panels protected with a semi-gloss protective foil and equipped with a hanging system. The photos can be dispayed outdoors as well as indoors.
